Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote child development - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime - Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up - Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities - Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the childcare facility Experience: - Previous experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood education setting - Familiarity with working with students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as math, language, and social skills - Understanding of childhood development milestones and age-appropriate activities Skills: - Early childhood education knowledge and experience - Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum - Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment - Strong math skills to facilitate age-appropriate math activities - Ability to provide quality care for toddlers, including diaper changing, potty training, and naptime routines - Proficient in lesson planning to create engaging and educational activities for children of different ages - Effective behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors We are looking for a dedicated Childcare Provider who is passionate about working with children.
