*Job Summary: *This position conducts a variety of clerical duties in support of Adult Education.
The Student Coordinator/Success Coach interacts with students, conducts registration, intake and orientation-related services for potential and current students.
Interaction with AE staff, students and community members is an integral part of this position.
*Required Qualifications*: · High School Diploma or HSE (High School Equivalency) Diploma required · Microsoft Office skills- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
), as well as ability to learn to use other computer software · Knowledge of and skill in using data entry software · Evidence of interpersonal/customer skills · Accept new tasks and responsibilities in a positive/ professional manner · Organizational and analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines · Skill in operation of general office equipment (copier, scanner, phone, etc.
) · Assist with scheduling, proctoring and scoring state- required tests (CASAS, TABE, OPT) *Preferred Qualifications:* · Experience working in an adult education environment · Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information internally and externally · Maintain class, staff and event schedules *Typical Duties and Responsibilities:* · Demonstrate ability to multi-task · Assist with graduation · Assist with student registration, assessment, orientation/counseling · Perform general office duties: filing, printing, disbursement of materials · Assist with ordering materials and supplies · Organize and maintain confidential program and student files as well as report documentation *Additional Job Requirements:* * Skills in exercising analytical judgment in areas of responsibility; identifying problems or situations as they occur; skill in identifying alternative solutions to problems or situations.
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
* Ability to deal with a diverse population in a positive, professional manner.
* Ability to function effectively as a team member.
* Ability to assemble information and devise reports and documents in a concise, clear and effective manner.
* Ability to record and deliver information to students, parents, staff, and supervisor; to explain procedures and policies; and to follow written and verbal instructions and guidelines.
* Must be adaptable to working a flexible schedule to meet the demands of classes after normal work hours.
*Certificates:* TABE and CASAS Implementation and Proctor Certification (training provided) *Working Conditions:* 1.
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.
m.
– 4:30 p.
m.
, but this position may require some evening and Saturday work hours.

Travel to the Williamson County Jail occasionally and travel to attend regional and State Adult Education meetings.
*Physical Abilities:* * Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time.
* Light to moderate lifting.
* Reaching, stooping, pulling pushing, bending, walking, writing on board and keyboarding.
* Speech, hearing and vision emphasized.
* Visual and hand usage of computer terminal.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30,000.
00 - $37,000.
