Mechanical experience is a huge plus in this role.
*Job Overview: * Identify, estimate, sell and manage new construction MECHANICAL jobs.
*Duties and Responsibilities* • Manage assigned residential customer accounts – create job proposals for each new job, maintain change orders, determine job billing amounts (based on completion and scope of work) and maintain customer specific price schedules.
• Manage assigned commercial/residential/multi-family projects – create job proposals, coordinate plan approval & permitting, complete job specific AIA billings and track/monitor job costs.
• Identify new customers and projects – estimate and present plumbing bids for future work.
Increase revenue for New Construction Dept.
• Work with vendors – negotiate & manage material costs • Work with Construction Managers, Foreman Lead Plumbers, and Scheduling Dept.
– communicate job/customer specific requirements and changes to the field.
• Develop relationships with customer by providing professional representation and assistance • Participate in sales and product training in person, online and through various content • Conduct thorough job site measuring, take photos, calculate the cost of the project, present to customers and follow up • Create solutions that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to the installation team • Maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with good judgment, policy, objectives, and our company Code of Ethics • Work alongside various departments and vendors to ensure KPI’s are met • Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects • Keep company vehicle (provided) and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition • Assist in the field on installations and service calls as needed *Qualifications* • Minimum of 4 years experience with construction sales and/or project management – knowledge of MECHANICAL systems is a MUST ! • Must be a good communicator – Sales is a major part of the role.

• Possess strong business and analytical acumen as well as superior communications abilities with a demonstrable capability to influence decision makers.
• Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal and presentation skills, along with strong analytical and project management skills – data driven and results oriented.
• Outstanding leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills.
• Strong experience in the areas of project management and capital expense management • Proficient in spreadsheet, database and presentation software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in implementing and working with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, planning, influence, presentation and follow-up skills including a “can do” attitude and a high sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated and must be persuasive in presenting ideas and managing their implementation.
