Paint Process Engineer

Ficosa North America is hiring for a Paint Process Engineer for our Cookeville Facility *Job Functions:* · Establish the specifications and technological requirements to be developed for new processes.
· Take part in quote process for new projects, analyzing the product’s design to guarantee optimal industrialization, and analyze the costs and investments associated with the industrialization.
· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods such as six sigma Kaizen etc · Participate in Project meetings · Develop strategies to reduce costs and perform cost reduction activities · Research and Develop paint processes and work with team to improve the existing processes*.
* · Support continuous improvement activities in the production processes at the plant .
*Preferred Experience:* *Process Engineer 3 years preferred* *Automotive Engineering : 1 year preferred* *Addition Skills:* · Automation systems programming and design (PLC, HMI, robots, servo-drives, vision systems, etc.
); · mechanical engineering; specific knowledge of processes in area of responsibility; lean manufacturing methods, Six Sigma problem solving, analysis and statistics tools; ISO TS requirements Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.
