Cookeville Regional Medical Center 1 Medical Center Blvd, Cookeville, TN Full Time, Days Posted 11/07/2023 Req# 3200 The competent perioperative care technician is responsible for performing many aspects of basic patient care, including but not limited to, patient care assistance appropriate to age of the patient, transportation of the patients, supply and equipment maintenance, transportation of specimens and blood products to and from the department.
Assists surgical team members in the preparation and set-up of their rooms.
Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
High School Diploma / GED Required Must possess skills and abilities to administer basic hands-on care to patients in a surgery hospital setting acquired through previous hospital experience, in-house training program or related health care experience preferred.
