Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Law Office is a mid-size law firm seeking a professional to fill one opening for an *experienced *Paralegal/Legal Assistant.
*Duties include*: - Assist attorneys with drafting and formatting legal documents and preparing files.
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity - Review and prepare correspondence - Answer phone calls and take messages with professional phone etiquette - Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing files - Perform clerical tasks including photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents - Utilize document management systems to organize and maintain electronic files - Assist with data entry and record keeping *Qualifications:* - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Familiarity with document management systems and file organization - Attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and editing - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Ability to always remain professional and maintain a professional appearance - *Previous experience as a paralegal assistant or in a similar role is a must* If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field, we encourage you to apply.
