Pastured mixed breed piglets.
Dad is a purebred blond Mangalitsa and the moms are half Mangalitsa and half mixed Hampshire/Berkshire/Duroc.
These pigs will be a nice medium size, not as small as KuneKune and much easier to manage than larger heritage breed pigs.
Since they are mixed breed, they will mature much faster than purebred Mangalitsa.
Their mixed breed mothers reached puberty by 7 months old and were at butchering size by 9-10 months old.
This particular mix of breeds is hardy, healthy, non-aggressive, and easy to keep.
Know what you're eating! Our pigs are never vaccinated or given antibiotics, or fed soy or gmo.
The piglets were born in the pasture and will be trained to an electric fence and a water nipple.
They're supplemented with produce and organic fermented grain, gallons of fresh and clabbered Jersey milk, and are kept healthy with kelp, garlic, DE, and ACV.
Mangalitsa are known for being especially delicious with delicate lard when raised on pasture.
These piglets were born the last week of Nov and will be available for pickup after Christmas.
