Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Reservationist.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations and handling reservations efficiently.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities: * Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage incoming calls and emails, responding promptly and directing inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
* Handle reservation requests through phone, email, or in person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain knowledge of room availability, rates, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
* Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the reservation system accurately.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals and address any maintenance issues promptly.
* Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, processing payments and providing necessary information about the property and amenities.
* Address guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
* Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality is a plus.
* Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including reservation management systems.
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
* Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility to work weekdays and occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
