We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team.
As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and dispatching service technicians to various locations.
Your strong communication skills and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring efficient service delivery.
```Duties```
- Receive and process service requests from customers
- Dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on availability, proximity, and skillset
- Coordinate with customers to schedule service appointments and provide updates on technician arrival times
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, service details, and technician assignments
- Monitor the progress of service calls and provide support to technicians as needed
- Communicate with customers regarding any changes or delays in service appointments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Assist with data entry and documentation related to service activities
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a dispatching or scheduling role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in data entry and computer applications
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and software
- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Familiarity with Deltek software is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software is required
