Bookkeeper

Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company - Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly - Prepare and submit tax forms and reports - Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate calculation of wages and deductions - Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Generate financial reports as needed for management review - Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation Experience: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of clerical and accounting procedures - Proficient in using accounting software such as Quicken or QuickBooks - Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles - Experience with bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and tax regulations Skills: - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively - Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
